Machining Capabilities
Multi-axis CNC Swiss turning, precision milling, Wire EDM, and full secondary operations — all under one roof.
CNC Swiss Turning
Core Competency · ~80% of Shop Capacity
Swiss turning (sliding headstock / guide bush technology) is the foundation of Sze Loi's precision output. The guide bush supports the workpiece directly at the cutting zone, virtually eliminating deflection even in slender, long-reach geometries. The result: exceptionally tight tolerances on features that conventional lathes simply cannot hold.
Our Swiss turning ops are capable of completing complex parts — turned, milled, drilled, threaded, and back-worked — in a single fixturing. This eliminates secondary setups, reduces handling risk, and dramatically compresses lead times for batch sizes from single prototypes through high-volume production runs. Parts Gallery showcases a wide range of parts with intricate features that we have encountered over the years, highlighting the depth of our unique capabilities.

CNC Turning & Milling
Auxiliary Machining · Tooling & Complex Profiles
Beyond Swiss turning, Sze Loi operates dedicated CNC turning centres and multi-axis milling machines for components outside the Swiss range — larger diameters, prismatic parts, tooling jigs, and mid-volume machining work.
Our Wire EDM cells are particularly valuable for tight-tolerance internal profiles, cutting slots, intricate contours in hardened tool steel, and producing precision punch and die components. All milling work integrates with our in-house inspection and deburring lines before delivery.
