Founded in Hong Kong
Sze Loi opens its doors in Tsuen Wan, New Territories — a small precision screw-machining workshop serving Hong Kong's thriving electronics and hardware export industry. Cam-driven automatic lathes and a team of skilled machinists are the foundation. From the first day, the philosophy is clear: tight tolerances, on time, no excuses.

Transition to CNC Swiss Turning
As global precision standards tighten and Hong Kong's manufacturing sector modernises, Sze Loi makes the decisive move: retiring its cam-operated automatic lathes and committing fully to CNC Swiss turning technology. The guide-bush Swiss lathe becomes the core of the business — enabling tolerances and surface finishes the old machines could never reach.

Dongguan Manufacturing Campus Opens
To scale production capacity without sacrificing quality, Sze Loi establishes its main manufacturing facility in Hengli, Dongguan — a purpose-built factory floor housing the majority of the Swiss turning fleet. Hong Kong retains its role as the engineering, sales, and QA hub. The dual-location model gives customers Hong Kong accountability with Dongguan production economics.

Citizen Cincom Multi-Axis Fleet
Sze Loi acquires Citizen Cincom L-series multi-axis Swiss CNC lathes — machines capable of 7-axis simultaneous machining, sub-spindle back-working, and live tooling. These machines remain the production centrepiece, enabling complete complex components in a single fixturing. Total Swiss turning capacity expands to 50+ machines plus in-house built machineries across both locations.

Active participant in the Hong Kong Electronics Fair since 2008 — establishing a long-standing presence at one of Asia’s most important industry platforms. This consistent engagement has enabled Sze Loi to showcase precision Swiss-turn and custom-machined components to global buyers, build lasting relationships with OEMs and engineers, and stay closely aligned with evolving market demands across electronics, industrial, and high-precision sectors. Our continued participation reflects both our manufacturing reliability and commitment to international standards.

Swiss Turning Specialisation
80% of our production capacity is dedicated to Swiss turning. That focus means deeper tooling libraries, faster setups, and process knowledge that a generalist shop simply cannot match. When your part is a 3mm stainless pin with four milled faces, we have made its twin ten thousand times.
From Prototype to Production
We run the same programs on the same machines at any quantity — 5 parts for a design validation build or 5,000 parts for a production release. There is no separate prototyping team and no painful hand-off. If the first article passes, the thousandth will too.
Exotic Materials
Titanium, Inconel, Monel — materials that many shops decline because the tooling cost, cycle time, and scrap risk are too high. We have the dedicated tooling libraries, machining protocols, and operator experience to run these materials correctly the first time.
